Colour Casing:
Colour case is a non permeable casing internally coated with an edible coloured coating. The coating transfers during cooking imparting a solid colour or a pattern to the outside of the product.
The transferred colour is consistently uniform and is available in a range of colours. Various patterns are also available such as netted look and roast.
The process or use is for products that are
ready to stuff or
dry stuffing. No soaking
overstuffing ratio 6% to 10%. The colour casing is
available in
reel stock,
shirred casings, or clipped pieces.
Special features of this colour packaging is that it is high-barrier and is able to be

Cooked. It can be shipped
high-shrink or non-shrink. The processing advantages are that it is
easy and clean handling, gives a
higher productivity,
higher production flexibility,
production safety,
no soaking, which means less bacteriological risk.
Smoke Casing
Smoke casing imparts a smoked flavour to your product without bleeding. It always generates a uniform product which results in quality assurance and microbiological advantages. There is no weight loss and no muddy liquid in the final package. The casing also has excellent peel-ability.
Smoke casing is ready to stuff and able to be dry stuffed with no soaking. It is available in tubular reel stock or as shirred casing. Caramel Cas is one of Globus' top lines.
Spice Casings
Is the easy, no fuss method of applying spice coatings.
Spice Casings are internally coated casings, consisting of an inner layer of sterilized blended spices, an edible middle carrier layer and a non-edible, easily peeled outer permeable casing, suitable for easy smoking.
During the filling/cooking process, the layer of spices transfer and impregnate onto the surface of the product, coating it with spices.
The outcome is a consistent layer of spice coating which enhances flavour. There is no need for soaking, just fill dry.
