Scope of the Quality
Management System
Globus Group’s capability statement
covers:
“The printing, converting
(NSW site only) and sale of flexible packaging;
and the warehousing, sales and servicing
of food packaging and processing machinery
to the food servicing industry.”
To support this Globus
Group has developed a Quality Management
System comprising:
- A Quality Manual, based on
AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000
- A Quality Policy
- Quality Procedures and Forms
- Industrial Financial System (IFS) (Globus Group’s Business System.)
- Business Plans
- Job Descriptions (held by the CEO)
All are electronic and accessible on-line.
All documents are identified by their title and are clearly legible.
Most documentation is displayed in “read-only” mode and cannot be changed without special authority.
Exclusions
Design and development
(Clause 7.3 of the standard)
Globus Group Pty Ltd does
not control the design and development of
product.
Management Representative
Top management has appointed
the Marketing Communications Manager who, irrespective
of other responsibilities, has the following
responsibilities and authorities:
• ensuring that
processes needed for the quality management
system are established, implemented and
maintained,
• reporting to top
management on the performance of the quality
management system and any need for improvement,
and
• ensuring the promotion
of awareness of customer requirements throughout
Globus Group.
Quality Objectives
The quality objectives at Globus Group are discussed during the Management Review Meetings.
The Management Action
Plan is reviewed twice a year during the management review committee meetings and also on a monthly basis with the senior management team and Globus' directors.
"Strategic Themes
for Globus” are presented to the Board
on appropriate occasions. These contain
action areas, assumptions and targets covering
the next five years.
